I am getting married in Sept. of 2004 and I am going to book my florist this summer. I would book as soon as you can if you are looking into a very popular florist.

My checklist says 6-9 months before. I'm this October and still don't have one!

Good luck! I say if you found one you love, no sense waiting before you book them! JMO!

I was told I didn't have to book my florist yet, but I did anyway b/c I didn't want them to be booked and I was certain that I wanted to use this particular florist and no one else!

I booked mine b/w 5-6 months before, and when I was calling, etc, very few florists were already taken.

I wanted to get Burtons so I booked them last month. 10 months before my wedding.

I say the sooner the better, get it out of the way.

I booked my florist on Jan. 26 for my July 5 wedding. I only called and looked at 2 florists and they were available. I fell in love with Milleridge Florist, the second florist I visited.

I started looking 8 months before and booked Burton's about 7 months in advance. All of the florists I wanted to meet with were still available on my date, but they were starting to book up.

I'm in the 7 mon countdown and I'm in the process of booking florist. Like many other high demand vendors if you find one that you really like book because some of them fill up fast.

They told me not to book too far in advance. I think I booked 2 mos before. I was able to change my mind on colors and flowers up until the last week. I kept them the same anyways.

I booked mine 11 months before my wedding. I met with her & loved her so booked her immediately.

I didn't want to leave too many things til the end because I didn't want to feel too stressed out, so I booked my florist this past summer for my May 2003 wedding. I don't think it's ever too soon.

My wedding is May '04 and I booked my florist last week. I say book as soon as you know who you want to use, they book quickly.
