how far in advance for invites / rsvp

Can you ladies share the date you sent invites, the rsvp dates in relation to your wedding date.

Trying to figure out how far in advance to do everything

my friend sent out her invites 3 months in advance, her wedding is beginning of Aug and the RSVP date was beginning of July

Our rsvp date will be May 15, cause I am anticipating stragglers. I will probably send them out in april

Just sent my invites on Monday (8/1) for our 10/15 wedding. RSVP date is 9/10.

We sent invitations on July 26. RSVP date is September 14. Wedding is October 14.

My wedding date is October 28th, RSVP date is Sept 16th and invites went out today Aug 4th!

mailed out july 8. rsvp aug 21. wedding sept 25.

i mailed them out a week earlier than i planned to bc i was so excited.

I sent out 2 batches - first batch went to family & OOTs - sent 2nd week in July, RSVP by date was 8/1. Second batch was for local friends, went out 3rd week in July with a 8/29 RSVP date.

sent mine out July 29th, RSVP date of September 1st (have tons of out of town guests) otherwise my RSVP date would have been September 15th

Invites to be sent out 3 months prior to wedding and my RSVP date would be a month before .. We also setup an RSVP link on our wedding website so it's easier for guests to RSVP even if they lose our RSVP card

Sent My invites out on Aug.1 st, My RSVP is Aug. 26th, and my wedding is Sept. 24th

Im not giving room for people to have months to RSVP

We sent our invites out June 23, 2010, RSVP was July 30, 2010 and wedding was September 5, 2010. Even with the RSVP date so early, people were still annoying and didn't RSVP until the week before the wedding, putting us under and no time to invite others!!!! O to have in-laws that don't listen!

I'm sending out 3 months in advance with a 6 week RSVP deadline

I sent mine out on 8/3 and the rsvp is 9/1. Our wedding is 10/2. I wanted to have them out a week earlier, but they were custom made and took longer than I thought they would. I picked them up on 8/2 and spent 8/3 putting them all together to get them out as early as I could. I already got my first response back this morning!

I think giving guests about a month to rsvp is plenty of time, especially if you sent out save the dates.

Response date is a month before the wedding.

i think 3 months is good. you need time to hunt doww those effers that don't rsvp!
