How far in advance do you go for a makeup and hair trial??
And I guess to book for the day of with your bridal party!!

I think most brides worry about this closer to their date, but I am doing my makeup trial for our e-pics in August. I am putting Hair on the back burner bc I really am unsure what I want, and wont have a good idea until I find a dress.

I plan on waiting until I get my dress to do both. Once I have the dress I think I will have a better idea of what I want my hair/makeup to look like on my wedding day.

I've started my makeup trials because I had an E-Party and E-Pics. I actually asked my hairdresser about hair trials and she had said that you typically don't start those until you have your headpiece b/c you really can't decide on a hair style until you can see how your headpiece lays with it.

I'm going to wait because I'm trying to grow my hair longer so i want to wait a while to give it a little loner to grow. I guess maybe like 3 months before the wedding maybe?

it depends who you want to do your hair and makeup. If they are ppl who are well known and book fast then I would start doing it now. Get your date locked in with them and as your wedding gets closer do another trial.

This. I checked some of the popular vendors on here, and some of their availability is already taken up for my day. So if you have your heart set on a popular LIW make up or hair vendor you might want to start now. If not then their are a lot of other peopl!

I think it depends on how good and in demand the girl(s) are....I know one lady who can't do a trial for me until JAN!! I was like jeez!!

I am getting married in April. The girl that does my hair normally is going to be doing my hair and makeup for the wedding.
She told me she wants to start trials in October.

I already booked and had both my makeup and hair trials. I wanted to use a popular makeup artist and wanted to make sure I booked her early.

It depends how popular they are. I already had my makeup trial and I want to eventually start searching for hair.
