How far in advance of your wedding are you.

girls.setting up hair trials? I was just wondering at what point it's recommended to do this because I'm not sure. Thanks girls

Probably not until the month before-my friend/bm is doing it, I'm sure we'll have a play around session in the summer though.

I'm growing out a bob, its just now hitting the top of my shoulders-sooo I can't even attempt a trial for a few months anyway. Plus knowing me I'll change my mind (like I do everything else) if its too far in advance.

mines late june and i'm attempting to do my hair and makeup trial over the february break (i'm a teacher) and then I plan on going to try on my dress which came in just before xmas so i can see the whole ensamble together

It probably depends on if you are using someone you know and trust or shopping for someone to do it. If you are shopping you probably want to do it early because you have to see if you like the person and have time to book someone else if you do not. If you are using a life long hairdresser then I would say the month before.

There really isn't any set time...I went about 2 months ago for mine...and I'll be getting another one on my 2nd fitting... So it's really up to you. If you are interrested in a specific person, than I would get in contact to at least hold the date. But I don't like to reserve until I had a trial..that's just me though.

I did mine 4 months in advance but really only because that was the only time my sister (and MOH) would be in town for it. I'd say give yourself at least that long in case you're not happy and need another one or need to find someone else.

Im doing it whenever my second fitting is. So I can see the dress just about done with my hair and makeup together.

I went for my first trial in September. Then I had my 2nd trial a week before the wedding.

I am getting married in July and I am going to go in may for my hair trial, and even though i love my makeup i am going for another trial just to see the hair and makeup together and then i will go for my first fitting......I cant wait.
