the candy for the Candy Buffet for the wedding? I know chocolate keeps a long time. I probably won't buy it now b/c of the heat, but how far in advance is good to buy it? I don't want to wait until prices get jacked up for Halloween so what do you think is a safe amount of time in advance?
I just bought my candy about 3 weeks ago. I thought about the heat but it is all fine. I have a below ground level apt. and it doesn't get too hot. I think as long as you have a place to store it where it doesn't get so hot, you should be ok. If not, wait til Sept.
If you are buying individually packaged or sealed packages it should be fine if you get it at the beginning of sept. if you are going to a candy store and doing candy by the pound, I would wait as long as possible to get it.
Im going to buy my candy beginning of September.
i think three weeks is fine but for chocolate maybe that week if you arent ordering it off of a website
