How far in advance should I mail my invites out?

How far in advance should I mail my invites out?

I am getting married on memorial day weekend and I wasn't sure if I should mail them out earlier than normal. Any suggestions?

You should mail them out first week of March. I am getting married may 29, 2006 I plan to send out STD's May 1, 2005 and the actual invites March 1, 2006.

OK, I got really excited. I'm mailing mine out around March 15th.

Not sure if this helps you but I'm getting married April 3rd. I'm sending out my invites on January 25th and the rsvp date is March 3rd. I think it works out to 9.5 weeks.
