How far in advance do you need to order tuxes? My fiancé said a month, but I don't want to wait that long and I think he was joking to get me annoyed. Is it about 4-6 months?
I asked FH this, since he has experience. He said 3 months out to pick them out. I thought a month, but he said that would be cutting it short.

If you are going to a national chain like Mens Wearhouse or Jos. A Banks, I think they have the tuxes shipped from a warehouse, so you have to allow for time for that. If you go to a Mom and Pop, I think the time is shorter, but I could be mistaken. We plan on using Mens Wearhouse because they coordinate colors with DB, where we're getting our BM gowns from.
Thanks! I want the vest and ties to match as best they can the bridesmaid dresses. If I bring in a swatch, they should be able to match it, I would think.
FH just did this yesterday at our 99 day mark.
Wow I hadn't even considered that it would take such a short time for the guys to get their tuxes. I was planning to do it 5-6 months out lol. Guess I'll wait for the 3-4 month mark..
It probably doesn't hurt to get it done early.
