How fast do your heels wear out?

I got a new pair of boots about two weeks ago and there's already noticeable wear on the heels, meaning they're no longer even, back wearing out faster than the front.

Am I just too hard on them? What can I do to make them last longer?

When I worked in the city literally a month or two! I had my favorite pairs resoled at a shoe maker, who said city walkers definitely go through them that quickly! Now that I drive to work, park at the door, and don't do much other walking in my boots, they last much longer...

Great, so I either have a car payment or a boot fund...

yeah, all those years of band camp have me relying heavily on the HEEL-TOE style.

mine wear out quickly too, but that doesn't stop me from wearing them. I rarely have a pair of shoes for more than one season though. I too am a funny walker.
My parents always told me that & DH confirms. Mine wear out more on the outside edge.

my director used to tell us to 'squeeze the cheeks like there's a nickel in there!'

I was queen of the band dorks- I was the drum major for 2 yrs. Best part? I didn't have to wear the funny pants. I wore a funny skirt, and KNEE-HIGH heeled boots!!!

We had to squeeze the nickel too! That gave you 'The Glide'! I too was a dork. I was section leader and uniform manager! And our uniforms had capes and plumes, there were spats too!
