How freaking rude!

So earlier today my manager and his boss decided to invite themselves to lunch in our cafeteria with me and my coworker. I don't get to talk to my managers boss that often so he was asking all about the wedding. I don't remember everything he said and in what order (i was already blocking him out) but here are a few things he said: First he was wondering why we would get married because it is 'torture', then he progressed to tell me how it ruins your relationship and how I should never have kids... OK fine whatever misery loves company I guess. Meanwhile this man has a drop dead gorgeous wife and 4 beautiful kids..he has no idea how lucky he is. Then the icing on the cake he asks where FH is from and I said here (long island) and he said 'oh born and raised on LI uh oh' so I asked what that meant and he said none of 'us' (people born here) are normal. Dude go back to chicago!

But it doesnt stop! Then he asks when I am getting married and when I tell him he says 'That is month and quarter end how do you plan on doing that' and I told him that jack (my manager) and I already worked everything out for coverage etc..and he decides to say.. 'well with this economy you might not even be working here so I guess it doesnt matter and if you are working here for a different manager that is not as flexible you will just have to change your plans'


UM NO NO NO i will not.

This man is normally sarcastic but I felt like it was overkill today and I am still pissed off about it.
