How have you changed since getting engaged?

I used to hang out with more guys than girls. Now I barely hang out with any guys (except co-workers).

I'm a lot more compromising and giving to fiance. I don't want to stay 'mad' over stupid little things so we try to resolve everything on the spot.

I've had interest in becoming domesticated. I literally don't think i cooked one meal in 2006. Now I'm looking forward to using our new kitchen items.

I stopped enjoying partying. I don't know why but it just isn't fun anymore. I don't know if this is because I'm getting married or getting old!

Shortly after getting engaged, my FH and I moved in together. This was planned prior to the engagment but it has totally intensified our relationship. We were best friends before but now were inseperable. I am little miss suzie home-maker and I love it. I love taking care of him and just having him to come home to. Our engagement didn't change us, it only bettered us!

Same here!

And I'm so happy doing it. Some of my friends don't understand (and we DO make an effort to go out with them, too), but we're very happy just relaxing. We have stressful jobs and work long hours... we commute to NY from LI. We like just hanging out on the weekends, running errands, making wedding plans, and relaxing! I also have 2 horses and am teaching my FH how to ride, so the barn trips take 3-4 hours out of each weekend day, too...

I'm happier being engaged. We were living together before we were engaged, but getting engaged intensified our relationship even more. We're one of those inseparable couples who others think probably spend too much time with each other... but we wouldn't trade it for the world. He's hands down my favorite person on this planet.

I enjoy and appreciate the time that FH and I get to spend together more, since our schedules have changed so much since we got engaged.

We stay home more and enjoy being with each other and discussing our future.

I'm on LIW a lot

We're setting up our first home together, buying furniture, couches, tables, etc and just feeling a little older! (in a good way)

I used to get annoyed at girls who would prefer to sit home and do nothing with their boyfriends over hanging out with the girls.

Now I've become one of those girls. Ack!

About two weeks before FH and I moved into our apartment he proposed. So life was already really changing. Since then I have noticed that I am much more of a homebody. I think I would have been already one but there was just no place of 'our own.' Weekend are reserved for errands relaxing and just enjoying being together. I love cooking for him and setting up our place. I love getting up with him (early.. yuck) just to see him before he goes to work. It has definitely made me more grateful for what I have and amazed at how lucky I am.

I've definitely gotten softer. FH says that I used to be more aggressive and confident and that I was more apt to put myself out there. I guess I feel like now that we're 'tied' together, if I make an a$$ of myself it's linked to him which is why I'm more cautious but I'm going to work on it and regain my old college ways

I've become a bit of a b*tch lol ...i used to be really easy going, and a push over... but now if someone does something that erks me..i'll let them know. Like at the post office some old lady cut the line and I went up to her and was like 'i was first' and she said she didn't know there was a line..so I went back and pointed to the sign that says 'wait here...' I think I made her feel bad cuz she appologized again on her way out which made me feel bad for not just letting it go like the old me would have. Thats what stress does to me though...poor FH

Other than that I have really become more of a homebody... FH doesn't like to go out and drink or anything and I do...but its just not as much fun knowing FH is at home.

I have changed a lot. I used to party all the time, go clubbing, house parties, all of it. now most nights we stay in, watch movies, tv shows (mostly law & order) I barely drink anymore. I also used to have mostly guy friends, now I have mainly girl friends. most days are just wedding planning. than my family trying to get us to move down south. than them asking about babies (we're not even married yet!)

it is fun to hang out at home most nights with him and my dogs. no longer spending 3 hours getting ready for some club, to be bothered by perverts there. I feel sort of old though, I guess that's just part of getting older. I do miss those girls night out thursday nights at webster hall though. me and my girls used to drive there every week, and everytime get lost trying to get back to the island.

the ring changes a lot! I miss those random guys trying to flirt, now it's like oh back off she has a ring. I have def gone from wild party girl to a calm, homebody.

I think i realized that the little things don't matter anymore...Life is more important than just planning a wedding...I think many girls loose sight of that. It is a wedding of one day (But a marriage that should last a lifetime)
