How have your experiences been ordering from the Carolinas?
I am in the process of looking for living room and dining room furniture. I know a lot of people order from companies in the Carolinas. Have you experiences been good? Does the furniture come damaged, is the quality what you expected?
Would you order from the Carolinas again?

We found out dining set, made by Canadel, in Fortunoff's, then got it priced by a NC furniture broker. Huge savings!!
We got our dining room set from Royal Discount Interiors in Statesville, NC. Wonderful customer service. I highly recommend them.
Delivery came when expected. The delivery people set up everything. I inspected, and not one thing wrong. They even removed all the boxes for us.

We ordered our bedroom set from furniturelandsouth in North Carolina. The price was great and the furnitire is of good quality.
Delivery was prompt and on time and they set everything up in the room and removed the boxes. I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered my Thomasville dining room set from NC. I was very happy with the service. It came on time (6 weeks) and the delivery people set everything up nicely and no issues getting in my tiny apartment hallway where I use to live. Very professional. This has been my only good experience ordering furniture!!! I have had bad experiences with a lot of other mfg and stores. I plan on ordering anything I can from them in the future.
They did drop a leg of the dining table and it was still in working condidtion - small crack - which they reported to the store and we promptly rec'd a new one in perfect condition.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Furniture Land South. FH and I actually took a trip down there to pick out our furniture! We saved a total of $6,000 compared to the pricings we did up here. We most certainly would order from them again. I'll even reccommend to you my sales rep Tona... she was terrific!!! you can work with her in person AND online. She'll call you back right away.

I think you can get great deals in NC but be careful who you deal with - check them out through the Better Business Bureau first. I ordered a bedroom set from a company down there and didn't check them out first and it was a nightmare! Never got the furniture and was actually one of the lucky ones to get my deposit back. The Attorney General actually investigated them and they were found guilty but still haven't either delivered all the furniture or paid the deposits back.
