How hot does it get under there!

I think I must get overheated faster than most people, but boy do my legs get hot under these wedding gowns...and that's just trying them on for a little while not wearing it all day. How do you deal? Maybe I should go for a gown with side vents! And a fan!

that was one of my concerns...but how great would that be if someone came up with a fan that strapped to the dress and ventilated down there.

forget slipper baskets...bring on the gown fan!!!

Now that's what I'm talking about! In fact, FH had shoulder surgery and we had to get him this machine that hooked up to the wrapping on his arm and circulated cool water around it....maybe they could make bike shorts like that and I could just keep plugging myself into the wall to refresh!

HOT! H-O-T! I really almost passed out and it was in the mid 80s and SUNNY! You know how it is... you dont get to really eat right because youre so busy, your taking all these pics in the sun, posing, kissing... ugh... With a ballgown and a huge slip I was wishing for rain! LOL I survived though.

i am very worried about that. between the dress and the slip i have like 15 layers to my gown! yikes!

My friend was just married this past July...HOT & HUMID! She said KEEP THE SLIP ON! It actually lifted her dress off of her legs and kept her cooler than if she took it off.

I was worried about the same thing because in the AC'd dressing room I was literally sweating and I never sweat! I thought for sure I would melt during the ceremony because it was oiutside. And to my surprise, I wasn't that hot. I don't know why but I am grateful!

I would get one of those travel size bottles of baby powder, when you start sweating really bad, a little sprikle soaks up the wet feeling fast, and helps to make your sweaty clothing not stick to you. Plus if you get a little on your dress, you won't ruin it, it brushes off or just blends in. And it smells pretty too! I use it all the time, it really helps.

i get REALLY hot too, but I picked a dress, that weighs nothing for that very reason, I HATE that hot get me out of this feeling!

I got really hot under my gown when I went for my fittings which is why I decided not to wear stockings. I get hot (and cold) really easily and I was worried about being sweaty and disgusting on my wedding day. I think it may have been the lights in the bridal salon or something b/c I didn't feel hot or sweaty at all on my wedding day. Just in case you get hot though the baby powder suggestion is a good idea.

I was sooo hot!! During the receiving line the bottom layer of my slip was stuck to my legs! Ewww!

Well I almost fainted at a wedding as a bridesmaid this summer so I am a little worried about MY wedding day.

I am VERY worried about the same thing. I'm not myself when I am uncomfortable.

I may even get a second corset so that if mine gets sweaty I can change. And maybe even extra underwear.

I tried one dress that was so lightweight and comfortable but I liked my dress better!
