How involved is FH in the planning process?

ETA: mine is sort of involved. He doesn't want to do any research so he left meto pick the vendors I wanted to look at and he'd look at them with me. At the hall thought of course he asked 1000 stupid questions about the food, etc...I wanted to hit him..LOL

When we first booked our hall the date was still 2 years away and fh was not involved at all!! as the day got closer and I really started booking things/planning/getting my dress
he started really getting into it. so around the 1 year mark he came around
Now hes just as involved as me if not more! j/k

Mine wasn't very involved...We looked at halls together, bands, the cake...But I also learned that it was much easier without his input because I tended to want everything a certain way, and when he did offer an opinion, it just meant me having to shoot it down to do things my way

FH really lets me do most of the planning
& i run stuff by him. I really dont mind.

he called all the vendors, hall, limos, photo to make the appts. he is very involved. i wouldn't want it any other way.

He's not involved at all, actually he is busy with school. But, even when he is free he still doesn't come anywhere with me. The things that he was involved in, was picking out all of the dishes and bedding, the stuff I really didn't need him for, figures when I need him, he's busy (which I understand) and when I could have done it on my own, he comes with me.

My DH was involved. I didn't want to pick out important things (like vendors) without him being there. I took some of his advice and then other times I didn't.

Yea, my husband asked the catering hall if they serve bread with dinner. C'mon that's a given isn't it? So they do ask silly questions and lots of them

MY DH was so involved he even picked out the China! It wasn't worth fighting so whatever we didn't agree on, I caved. Of couse there were things I just didn't let him get involved in. I wish he was less involved.

He is involved a little bit....I do all the research, narrow down the vendors to look at...but then we both will meet with them and jointly make a decision. I do most of the legwork though and I am fine with that. I have 'assigned' him stuff that I do not want to do though - like creating the mailings that we will be sending with our STD's. But he is a computer guy, so he is fine with that....

He knows that when it comes to the wedding...he is just a 'glorified guest' and is fine with that!

I am involved in everything. When it comes to looking at bm and fg dresses, I am not involved.

Mine is very involved, we go to all appt together, I dont make a decision until I discuss it with him.

Well my FH is sorta involved. He doesnt like to go around visiting vendors though. I dont really want him involved so much b/c he can be a pain. LOL

My FH has been involved every step of the way...except for my gown and the BMs gowns.

DH was as involved as I allowed him to be .. LOL

He came with me to book all the major vendors (church,hall, photog/video, dj, where to take pics in between, even the florist). HE dealt with tuxes himself and stayed out of the BM and my dress issues of course

but when it came to scheduling appointments, follwing up with vendors, making decisions, just the overall constant STUFF that had to be done - I did all of it.

Not to say Dh wasn't helpful - he was VERY helpful (esp helpful in trying to keep my calm!) I just liked being in control

he is involved to an extent...I do the research & make the appointments & then when we go to see the vendors, he is the negiotiater...My mom teases me because he becomes more of the bride when we are with the vendors...Now that the majority of the stuff is done, he is very involved with details...I think he would be completely involved if his job was not so demanding...He barely has time to breathe!

he comes with me to the meetings and has WAY too many opinions
but i'm happy he's there and wants to know about everything and meet everyone..i do most of the legwork
