How is everyone getting from RH to hotel after the reception?

How is everyone getting from RH to hotel after the reception?

Im wondering how everyone is getting from there RH to the hotel after there wedding reception? We have no booked transportation as of yet for this purpose. Our RH is a rather short distance to hotel and it seems silly to spend more money on a limo service even a town car. Since FH dosent drink i said we should just leave our car there and drive back, but FH said its our day and he rather no which i cant blame him, lol. We both do not want to be dropped off by family or friends so i guess the only way that makes sence is to get a town car from our limo company which was about 85 plus tip. So how are you all getting to hotel that night and home the next day?

We are going to stay at the garden city hotel that night...so we were thinking about driving our car to the GCH the day of the wedding (FH will do this or one of his groomsman lol) so this way we will have it when we go home the next day....as far as getting from the RH to the hotel....i understand what you mean about spending more $, but your FH is right it is your day and you shouldnt have to drive.. just get the car from the limo company you will be happy you did! whats an extra $85 after all the money you are spending-lol

I am staying at the Gaden City Hotel as well.

FH and I are taking separate limo to the RH (Synagogue is also the catering hall).

To get home we have one limo for thr wedding party and his parents are getting us an antique 1950's RR as a gift to get us back to the Hotel.

I really want to stay there, i have been there for many business meetings in the grandball room and it is simply elegant!!!

I know you think a limo or town car is silly to spend money on since your hotel is so close to the RH, but what about just taking a cab back to the hotel. I'm sure it's the cheapest option.

We are taking a car -- When I booked the shuttle bus for our guests, Tony from Always in Style Limos threw in a separate car for us.

How about just taking a shuttle back to the hotel with your guests, assuming you are having a shuttle take guests there. If not, you can probably take a cab, it will be much cheaper. It's up to you. Good luck.

My limo company is providing a car for FH and I to get back to the hotel after at no charge.

ETA: to get home from the hotel the next day we'll probably just leave a car at the hotel for the weekend (b/c I'm staying there the night before the wedding too) or we'll catch a ride with some family.

When I booked my limos i also booked a town car to pick us up after the reception.

Camelot limos provides a car at the end of the night to take you where ever you are going

Our limo company threw in a car for free. If you only need a quick pick up and drop off i'm sure companies will work with you. I am staying at the hotel the night before so my car will already be there for the day after the wedding

We don't have cars since we live in the city. I think I'll have my parents or sister drop us off, most likely. Doesn't seem necessary to spend money on a car service or anything.
