How is everyone today? Anything new?

I still havent done my shopping...

ive been so crazy with school, work and my 10 mth old son Jayden.

But my last day of finals is tomorrow!! so after that, I need to get everything done. LOL


Did everyone have their holiday parties at their jobs? Our is Wed night (cocktail party) and then on the 22nd there is a dinner....

and no spouses

Boo to cost-cutting and not letting spouses attend!

We have our holiday party on Friday, and we all live without our families here so no difference for me :-P

My only news update is that my fish has been dying since yesterday and I've been freaking out about what todo. He's been swimming sideways and upside down and then just lying on the bottom of the tank and I feel sooo horrible, that I'm just watching him die. But I also didn't want him to kill the other fish in the tank. I looked up humane ways to kill him but I couldn't find anything that we have here and I got really upset about it all morning.

I don't even like fish and I only have a tank because its the only thing we're allowed to have here, but its still a living being and I felt so bad over it.

Lucky! My final is the 22nd! Right before Christmas! He's sort of evil.. I know!

Christmas shopping is almost done and holiday parties are over! I just have a baby shower on Sunday and my niece is visiting from Florida on Saturday until January 2nd (?) I think..

Boo! How can they not allow spouses? And! You can do some holiday shopping online! There's a lot of free shipping. It can save you some time.

OMG that is so depressing....what about calling a vet?i dont know if they would know anything but its worth a try,.

one time my hampster had cancer (no lie, he had a tumor!) and i called the vet b/c i felt so bad, and they were like 'the amount of money that its going to cost to make him better you might as well just get another hampster it will be cheaper' so mean right?

Sorry about your fish..... I had the same thing happen. I didn't know what to do.... flush it while alive (didn't seem right) or just wait. I ended up just waiting! RIP Walker!

My firm is having a holiday lunch. No alcohol, no spouses, therefore no fun! The funny thing is since I have met Andy they have not had a party where spouses were allowed!

We are celebrating Andy;s bday tonight so that should be fun. We are going to Sea Levels in Brightwaters. He use to work there and we went there alot when we lived in Babylon/Lindenhurst.

I am pretty much done shopping. We just have to get FBIL (and I may get a PSP3 game for Andy).

wow the 22nd? damn thats harsh. Talk about not being able to fly out to see family LOL

I went back at lunch and flushed him... I was told that because its so cold here that he would freeze fast and wouldn't feel it :(

Nothing new here, just schlepping along at work. Bleh.

Still have to finish up Christmas shopping too but I'm 90% finished!

Our company's 'holiday party' is tomorrow in our large conference room from 4 - 6pm. I have to bring something for it. Why even have anything? lol

That poor fish. I hate to see anything go through pain. It sounds horrible and sad but you flushing the fish is what I would of done too.

My work party is during the day 12-2 at Fox Hollow on the 21st. No spouses too.

I dont mind it being during work hours, I spend way too much time with my coworkers and if it was after work it would be cutting in my shopping time..

As of shopping my list is pretty long still... and for some odd reason FH and I decided we were not going to buy anyone gifts!!!??

Sorry about your fish! That is just terrible! My FH has tropical freshwater fish and about 75% are deceased... the water was fine and the fish were eating like normal.. We have no clue how they died. The best thing you can do is wait.. or at least take the fish out of the tank just in case it has a disease. You don't want it to infect the other ones.

FH had tropical saltwater fish & apparently water leaked down the wire and started an electricial fire in FH's apartment (during the weekend of my grandfather's funeral). Luckily it was only a small fire b/c the heat caused the tank to crack & 30gallons of water (and fish) went all over the apartment. It was such a mess and I'm not allowed to even look at, let alone mention fish.

Sorry to hear about the fish.. thats crappy watching the poor thing die!

I've been so busy lately with xmas shopping (mostly online bc im lazy)

I have my office xmas dinner on Thursday - no significant others just the office people.

I'm alright....haven't really taken a second to breath in the last couple weeks though and I'm a walking zombie!

Work hectic....going to our Christmas dinner tomorrow and our spouses are invited
Only shopped for 4 or 5 gifts, and with family kids totaling 17, I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Need to get on that QUICK!

My FH and I are involved in a law suit and just got a call that they made an offer for more than we were expecting!! The settlement will be paying for our wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooooo much stress off our shoulders right now!!

Going to get back in the swing of things after the Holiday's, there's just too much madness right now to think about planning or booking anything.
