I have very long hair and I'm really torn between wearing it all up or half up. How did you guys decide on what hairstyle to get? Can you possibly post pics ?

Don't have a pic here - but I wore mine half up-half down. I did try having it all put up at a trial, but I am just not comfortable with my hair up. Even though up-dos seem to be th most popular, it wasn't for me - try a couple of different styles and go with what makes you feel the best.

I'm torn with this as well. I'm most likely going to wear mine half up. However, it may come down to a game time decision, depending on weather, etc. It's really the kind of style that she can just put up in case I change my mind.
Mine is actually to be a combo of 2 pics that I've seen either on this board on on the web itself. I have the hard copies of the pics - I just have to find the e-versions.

I'm wearing my hair down. I want to look as much like me as I can. I also am wearing a strapless so I would feel more comfortable with my hair down.

I'm wearing my hair all up.
I have a very dramatic dress, veil and headpiece so I figured I should put my hair all up.
I don't have a picture but it's more like a bun, only my hair is looped around - looks neat with the highlights too...

I have a bun wrap too. I am wearing my hair half and half.
I knew my headpiece as soon as I saw it. I fell in love. Kinda when you find your dress. You know it when you see it. I love it.

I am weaing my hair up. I like to wear my hair up at weddings because I don't want to have to deal with it. I have natural frizzy/curly hair and blow it straight everyday. If I wear it down, then I will have to worry about it curling or frizzing! Also after a few hours me hair often gets blah.... because it is so thin!
Here is the only ok picture I have from my trial. It will be done neater on my wedding day. I am wearing a simple classic bun low on my head...more towards the nape of my neck. My dress is very detailed and my headpiece is crystals, rhinestones and pearls. I wanted a simple, classic hairstyle to complete the look.
Love it bridetobe. I'm doing something very similar.
I wanted something simple too so it wouldn't take away from the dress, or me!

I'm wearing mine half up & half down, I'm getting it straightened out to, I have curly hair & I hate the way it looks up. My hair dresser told me to wear it the way I feel most comfortable and not pick a hairdo that twenty years from now I'll look at my pictures and say 'what was i thinking?' I look and feel most attractive when my hair is straight & down so....that's how I'm going!

I am wearing my hair half up/half down. I am getting it blown dried staraight then adding loose curls to the very ends of my hair.

irenie19 - I got my done in a shop in Howard Beach near my mom's house. It is Anna from Explosion. I actually heard about her on this board.
I have been growing out my hair for over a year to wear it up. I am wearing it up and parted to the side with looped curles in the back coming out of the veil. Its simalar to the picture Karen62794 just posted.
