How is everyone working out teh transportation/limo issue???
I really want a Rolls Royce but Fh thinks that we should save the extra cash and put it toward something else. We are on a tight budget. The positive side of NOT getting the rolls is that I can be with my bridal party on the way to the church and to the reception. I think it is nice to spend the time alone with them before the rush of the family and friend crowds. What is everyone doing?

I am taking a limo from my moms to the reception place (we're getting married there) with my parents and the whole bridal party. The bridal party consists of my three sisters, my cousin, and my neice and nephew. So I want to be with them before the craziness starts. FH is taking a limo from his house with the guys so they can arrive in style also.

I want one for us and for the bp -- but we haven't made a final decision. This is one of those decisions for me.

I really really want a Rolls Royce or a specialty car for me and my mom to get to the church and then after for me and my FI to the reception and then limo or limos for the BP...depending on how much $$$$ it is maybe a car for my mom, his parents and G-Ma to the reception too

We have about a 45 minute ride between the church and the reception. With that said we booked the 2006 Cadilac Escalade for the entire bridal party for the ride to the East wind! A limo will be picking the boys up and dropping them off at the church only! Escalade for me and the girls!

We got the 1967 Rolls for me and my dad to go to the church then my and FI to go to the reception, a lincoln stretch to take the boys to the church, then that will take the parents and SIL's to the reception and a Hummer to take the girls to the church then the whole brideparty to the reception and then it will take the bridal party back to the hotel..

rolls from my house to church with parents
Escalade-i hope will be picking up guys , fh and fh parents at hotel and bringing to church and then coming to my house for the girls and bringing to church
then- me and fh then dh will go in rolls and BP will go in escalade limo
and I dont know about parents yet....hmmm maybe they will go in escalade too

I also really wanted a rolls but it just doesn't fit into the budget. I think your FI is right, spend the $$ on something that'll last like your pics or your wedding bands. We're getting a 10-passenger for me, my parents, and my BP going from my mom's house to the RH (where the ceremony will take place). We're gonna get dropped off there and then at the end of the night my FH and I will be picked up and taken home.

I really wanted to have a Rolls too but it just didn't work out that way. I'm taking pictures before the ceremony with FI and my parents will meet us at the reception hall. So, I would be riding in it alone while my bridal party had a limo.

I don't think we are going to get any limos. My mom or one of my BM's will drive me to the reception hall and we will get ready there... Thats my plan as of right now. Being that the ceremony and reception are at the same place, the limos seem to be an unecessary expense.

I wanted to be with my bridal party so what I did was I rented the Limo bus it will pick up FH and the guys fisrt take them to the church then come and get me and teh girls and my parents take us to the church then after teh church we are all gonna be in the bus together. My friend did that and I loved the idea of everyone being together and starting the party offin the bus.

Im thinking that it might be a good idea to take the limo with bridal party to the reception because its like a 45 minute ride. But I kind of want the time alone with my new husband (hehehe)..I am still up in the air on this one!!!
