Ladies- If it is that cheap you have to really think about the quality of the work....how are they able to pay their bills and pay for your production on your albums/video if they are charging you so little......That price is cheap for Photo or Video alone. Just be careful

They still have to pay for the film..for it to be developed..for the pictures to be printed..to be retouched..and then to be put into an album....and that is just the photo part. Excuse me but I have worked in a photo studio since I was 20 years old, so I am familiar with this stuff ...I'm not trying to sell you on the studio I work for..don't worry. It's my second job now. But anyway, see if you can get references.

I wholeheartedly agree with Kath. ANY COMPANY offering those services for that price is going to be really really terrible. Be stingy in the right places..your photos are the only thing (and the gown) that will LAST FOREVER. The flowers, the food, the giveaways...all of those things are forgotten. If anyone books for that price, they have no right to complain if they don't like the work.

plus... if a company advertises such a 'great deal' there may be some 'catches' you may not know about... I would look into it very carefully...

I would be very worried about the quality. I am actually paying a bit more for photography because I am hiring an owner/operator who has been recommended to me by 5 different couples. She is more expensive because it is just her. Photography is very important to me and I am an avid photogrpaher myself so I was very picky in this area.

I wouldn't be so negative about them without seeing their work. They may be just starting out and offering a promotion to get their name out there. Not to metion, if you like their work, and they are new, I would guess that they would give you GREAT customer service, since if they do right by you, you would be more likely to spread the word about them. I have never heard of this company, so I can't be sure of anything, but the price would be enough for me to at least check them out. I booked Duet at a promotional price and two months later the same package went up $700. When people are making a name for themselves they often have to be VERY competitive with their prices.

Maybe they mean $1700 for each....like $1700 for pictures and then $1700 for video? That just doesn't make sence how it could be $1700 for both...

This is what I was just going to say - So I will only say that I agree 100%. I would check them out - whats to loose?
