I am asking b/c me and FH mostly spend time just with each other. we pretty much do everything together no matter if it is something that only one of us will enjoy. we barely have any friends, and the ones that we do we hardly ever see.
I was just wondering how everybody else are, b/c sometimes me and FH think that maybe we are the odd balls that no one wants to be friends with

Welll, it was much more active before wedding planning. We're just too broke to do anything.
lol - same here! But I still try to take a night out for drinks after work at least once a month - so that is keeping me somewhat sane.

Well, with working a full time and part time job and commuting 2 hours a day, our social lives are kind of blah. We do try to have at least one night a week separately with our friends and other nights with each other.

I feel like we see our friends very often - we have a good group in NYC and it's easy to just pop by someone's apt.
I always have brunch plans w/ my girlfriends and he likes to watch sports with his guy friends so it's perf. And we still have time over the weekend to do stuff together!

We both have great social lives - but not with each other!! Our work schedules is totally different - so we had a choice, either sit home and do nothing or go out with friends. I am usually the only 'single' one hanging out, but who cares? When we have time together we take advantage of it.

FH and I used to have a group of friends that we spent time with a lot. That was until we moved to Florida. Now we are having trouble meeting new people...

Just to add to this thread that I have been wondering the same thing! we have friends from college but live in other parts of the city or out of state. When me and my FH do go out, it's usually to his office happy hour (Lame).
I have my one or two friends that live in the city but see them once a month if that? ..Sort of *****, for example, I was going to get a group together to watch the new sex in the city movie and noone is available! I honestly don't want to drag my FH to see it with me lol

FH and I cut out a lot of our social activities to save money for the wedding. A lot of my girlfriends can't seem to understand that I can't be going out every weekend for drinks.

Our biggest issue is that we dont have mutual friends...and we live about 45 minutes from all of mine...so we are usually on our own. I have to admit, it gets boring sometimes. I like to socialize with other people and do different things. I wish we had a bigger network of mutual friends!

We have friends that live in the same town as us, and we don't see them! Btw all of 'our' friends are really his friends from hs times. I only have 2 or 3 good friends that I see every few months. I really do enjoy my time w FH. I do go out wo him occasionally, but don't like to, and he doesn't either.
Maybe were just lazy? Lol. But id rather spend a night doing dinner and a movie and relax on the couch than go out w our friends.
