Hi Ladies, It's been a rough couple of months for FH and I. My future father in law passed away suddenly in February and my godmother shortly after. I have been trying to get back on track with planning. I never sent out Save the dates, my FH thinks its unnecessary but I don't know how else to get the website/hotel info out. We are a little less than 6 months away, do you think its too late?

I'm sorry for your loses. I don't think it's too late, majority of the people probably know you're dealing with all the other things that have happened and understand.

Sorry for your losses. I don't think it's too late at all. I would still send them out. Some people might be unsure if everything will still be going as planned or if you may postpone it due to the circumstances. When my sister got married we had to postpone hers due to a death in the family. So I say still send it.

That is such sad news. I'm sorry you have had so much to deal with. I do not think it is too late to send out save the dates, but I would get to that as soon as possible.

So sorry for your losses. It's definitely not too late. Most of the websites say 6-8 months before so you're right on track with that. I reviewed a save the date in February for a wedding in May. Everyone's different.

I'm sorry for all the loss your family has had! If you already have the Save The Dates, go ahead and send them its not too late. But if you haven't ordered them yet, maybe just consider sending your invites out slightly earlier than usual (10-12 weeks instead of 8-10) and have a card made up with Website/Hotel info on it to include with the Wedding Invitation. It will save you from having to do two mailings, unless you already have ordered the STDs of course :)

It isn't too late, no, but everyone will understand if you don't. You can just send the invitations out earlier without a save the date. It's up to you, but if you've bought them already, might as well.
