How late is too late to send thank you cards?

We've been married for almost 3 months. Is it too late to send them?

you should send them soon. some brides take up to a year. I hope to get mine out between 2-3 months if I can.

It's never too late!!

NO! You have plenty of time! According to etiquette, you have up to a year to send them out. We sent ours out at around 7 month.s

They say you have 3 months, but it's never too late IMHO. Go for it!!!!

Believe it or not i just got a thank you from a wedding i went to a YEAR ago!! At least we finally got it.

No I don't think you're too late. I think 3 months is about average. I've been to weddings where I got the thank you almost a year later.

Its not too late. I just sent mine before the 4 month mark.

Though it's ideal to get them out within 3 months - it's never too late!!

BIL & SIL got married in May '06 and we still haven't gotten TY's for the wedding OR the shower!! (Mind you, I addressed the envelope myself at the shower) At this point it's a lost cause, but even if I did get a TY now I'd appreciate it.

So, no matter how late it is, definitely send them out!

We got married the same day. And we still haven't picked out the picture for the Thank You yet. I am hoping to have them out before Thanksgiving.

I don't think it's too late. I just got one 4 months after the wedding. I think that's about the average.

I just got a TY for my cousin's wedding which was last September. I thought she didn't get my gift or that she forgot to send me one, and we are really close ... so yes, while you have a year, I would send them before 6 mos so that people do not wonder what happened. I was about to ask her, 'Hey, did you send pics out with your TY? I would love one.' :)

It's not to late, My friend has been married almost a year and I have not gotten one yet. She is a bit unorganized though. I don't think I usually get them until about 3 months later anyway.

no not at all. my cousin was married in December. we didn't get a thank you card until I think mid April.
