Did your parents date for before they got married?
My parents dated 5 months!

Mine were together for about 6 months when they got engaged

I think about a year or so. My mom was pregnant when she married my dad BTW they have been married for 27years now

they dated for 4 yrs but my dad was in the army for a portion of that

They dated on and off since HS and got married when they were 22. They actually grew up together.

mine were together a little less than a year.
They got married (mom was 21, Dad 24) and had a honeymoon baby! Still together 27 years later!

They were engaged 6 months after they met, then had an 8 month engagement.
That's 14 months total, wow that's shorter than JUST my engagement lol.

They were HS sweethearts, mom was 15, dad was 16
They got married 5 years later!!

And June will be 30 years! :)

ETA: Oops: they dated 3 weeks before getting engaged. .. they got married a year and a half later when my mom was finished w/ school!

My parents dated for 6 months when they got engaged. They were married 6 months later. This past June they would have been married 56 years.

i dunno how long they dated, but i know they had a long engagement b/c they paid for the wedding themselves.
