Re: How long after the wedding?

We are going to start trying at the end of this year. We felt we needed to wait until we had our own space. And it must be a guy thing because DH also said he wants a kid before 30 and he will be 29 this year so we are right one schedule

Re: How long after the wedding?

We're planning on trying after the honeymoon. I'm going to be 32, so I want to get started trying You never know what obstacles you'll encounter, so I don't want to wait. My sister had a few miscarriages, so I know what may (or may not) happen.

Re: How long after the wedding?

I'm 35 and DH is 40, as much as we want to be a mommy and daddy, we want to have some time together first. I would like to start TTC shortly after our first anniversary.

Re: How long after the wedding?

FH and I want to wait until I get my degree (Bach.) before we start TTC. I took a few years off from school when I had my daughter (when I was 20) and since going back I can only go part time. I told FH as soon as I file for graduation I want to start !! My daughter will be 9 or 10 by then. It will be a big gap, but there's nothing I can do

ETA: it will be between one year and one and a half years after the wedding date !

LOL 10 years isn't so bad a gap. my little sister is 8 and I'm 24. It is a huge gap but we have a lot of fun together and she keeps me young.

Re: How long after the wedding?

Another one whose DH wants to procreate before turning 30. In our case it might happen since he's 27 now and we hope to TTC by next year. It will be 2 years after the wedding and the baby will be born about 3 years after...in 08! I gotta get crackin' since I want 3 (God willing we're blessed and they're all healthy) and I want them at least 3 years apart and be done by 32. I' mambitious!!

LOL I had the same ambition! Years ago I wanted one when I am 27, one at 30 and one at 32. I'll be 25 at the wedding so it could happen. LOL

It really is fun, I love hanging out with her and she adores me too. It's so sweet that she looks up to me. She writes me poem, she used to save me candy (when we lived in the same house) and made me a valentine in school one day, instead of our mom! I love that kid.

Re: How long after the wedding?

Probably not for another 1 1/2-2 years...we need a house and money for a baby first. But I would definitely like to be pregnant by the time I'm 30, I'm 27 now. Right now we are concentrating on enjoying each other!

Re: How long after the wedding?

I plan to try immediately after the wedding. My case is a little different. My son is 15 and I will be 35...13 days after my wedding. I'm hoping for a girl..but if that doesn't happen..I'd be willing to try again.. Am I crazy? I had my son at 18..and although I wouldn't change a thing...I know it's going to be hard to start all over again..although now I am more prepared than I was back then. :)
