How long after the wedding did you

Send out thank yous?

I wanted to wait until I got pictures from my photographer but I'm not going to get them until January. Is 3-4 months too long to wait?

I just sent my selections to my photog last night... I'm hoping to get them out BEFORE we leave for Thailand in two weeks which would put us just at the 2 month mark. If not I'll definitely have them out before Christmas.

I am waiting till I get my TY pics. I just picked them out last week and they told me it would take about 2 weeks. So hopefully I will be getting them out before the 3 month mark.

I think 3-4 months is ok. People realize that you are waiting on pics.

We got married in July and sent them out the beginning of October (we also hadn't gotten our proofs until September).

Mine were out in 2 months. But my photog was REALLY quick

we just ordered our TY card and we're nearing the 3-month mark...

i think as long as you give it within the year, it should be okay. we're still getting gifts anyway!

mine were out after about 2 or 2 1/2 months. but 3-4 months is fine too

Dropped off my TY proofs about a week ago, so basically once I get them back from the photography, I can send them out.

6 months for my guests

DH's guests will probably get them at the 8 month mark

and then the vendors...

i heard as long as its within the year. lol

I don't think that is too long at all. I think the standard for thank you's to go out is 6 months so you timeframe is fine. I've been lazy about this and posting pics, and writing a review so your not alone.

We're going to hopefully send them out by Christmas time. We'll be getting our proofs on Friday and ordering cards asap!

I think your timing is fine.
