how long after your bridal shower do you

have to send out thank you's?i had my shower august 7th..i have most of them filled out already but i still have more..i dont want to be too late..im trying to get it over with thanks

I had mine Aug 14th...I sent about 90% of them out, with a couple of remaining ones to go out this week.

I sent mine out in 2 weeks...you're fine as long as it's under a month...but who am I kidding, I still haven't started the wedding ones!

I would send them out no more than a month after the shower.

I forced myself to write 15 a night until they were done!

I sent mine out within a few days. my shower was a day before yours.

you should really get them out asap. I heard you're supposed to send them out within 3 weeks.

I had mine out the same week. My shower was a Saturday, I mailed some on the following Wednesday morning and the rest on the following Monday morning.

Same shower date and about 80% sent. I ran out of stamps but I'm finishing the others tonight.

I had them out 3 days after the shower -- but I only had 23 to write.

I think 2 weeks is a good rule of thumb.

I think that is reasonbale , b/c people understand that you are busy.

I had my shower yesterday, i took off today to take care of a bunch of things and to relax.... I wrote 99% of my thanks you's today, and they will be going out tomorrow. my mom had everyone write their addresses on the thank you env. so that helped a bunch. i had about 60 and it wasnt that bad!

i was actually really good about thank yous. They went out two days after the shower.

My shower was August 20, and I sent them all out by August 26 - I did about 12 a night and mailed them as I finished.

But, most people are saying I turned them around super quick - I would try to find by the end of the week if your shower was August 7.

I am bad..bad..bad bride to be,,my shower was 7-23-05 and I just sent them out today!!!!

I had over 100 guests and I forced myself to do 10 a night,,whic didnt work for me. I took my time and personalized every one instead of just writing the norm 'thank you for the generous gift'.

whats even worse,,,all the guestd received my wedding invites already!!!!!!!!!!!

My shower was on a Saturday and they were all in the mail the next Thursday.bg

I was really good. I sent them out within 2-3 days. I wrote about 35 a day for 2 days, and maybe another 15 the last day (big shower).. I did a lot at work though, like a bad girl.

I couldnt wait to do my thank you's..... so I had them all done and mailed out within three days after my shower.

But thats just how I am, I hate to sit on things.....when I can just do them.
