I guess this ? is for everyone. After your pictures are done how much time are you giving yourself to freshen up & relax before your ceremony starts?
I'm getting married Friday June 1st & FH and I are looking @ limo's tonight for the first time and I'm REALLY trying to get a time line going for my wedding day.
We are taking pictures at Old Westbury Gardens and we're getting married at Chateau Briand.
I'm saying to take pictures from 2-3:30 & be back to CB by 4pm the latest. It's a Friday afternoon in the spring, I have to take traffic into consideration. I want to make sure I give myself enough time to come back & freshen up before my guest start to arrive. My ceremony is at 5:30.
So how long are you guys giving yourself to freshen up before your ceremony?
TIA.

Re: Your wedding day
you will have PLENTY of time. CB is literally only about 15 minutes away from chateau Briand. even on a Friday at 3:30 pm. you will have plenty of time to relax before your ceremony! IMO maybe a little too much time. what DH and i did ( we took pics at OWG from 2-330 and got married at Chateau La Mer ( about a half hour drive) and took our family pics and somemore pics of us once we got to the RH. IMO i think an hour and 45 min is a lot of time in between pics and ceremony.

Re: Your wedding day
My FH said the same thing. He told me if we get back to CB at 4pm and our ceremony doesn't start until 5:30, that's too much time.
CB is giving us a hospitality 1/2 hr for our guests, so my invitations will say 5pm. I just don't want to be walking in the same time as my guests.
You think an hour tops is a more then enough to freshen up & relax?
If we get back to CB by 4:30, I can probably take pics from 2:30-4? How long do pictures normally take?
