It's not crucial to me that she is there while I am getting ready, really just getting ready to leave for the church and so forth.
So I guess my question really is, how long into your reception did you keep your photog? To the bitter end? After party?
I just dont know how many hours are enough.

I have mine for 6 hours....but thats a relatively short time span compared to what I've heard from everyone else. I think alot of people are in the 10 hour range

I think I have mine for 11 or 12 hours. They are supposed to come to me I think at 1 and my reception ends at 12:30am.

Most of the photographers I met with didn't even give me a specific time. they all said 'for the whole event' including getting ready..through to the last song.
even the photography we went with said this.. on the actual contract I have the specific times I want but I didn't meet one photography who wanted to nickel and dime me on the time which is very important. they were all willing to work with me since i want to do all photos before the ceremony (well as much as humanly possible) and none of them said they would charge me extra.
