How long before...

How long before...

your response date are you sending out your invites?? I think I asked this before but now I am getting mixed advice from everyone...

The place we purchased our invites from, said that we should send the out six weeks before the response date and so did our RH.. Well, The response date is Aug 1st so thats like this week...

My grandparents think that I should wait and send them out in the beginning of July but that leaves 3 weeks for responses...

I am VERY confused! Any advice? TIA!

OMG I have this same issue date twin!!! Mine are ready to go I am still deciding when to mail them... One of our other date twins (browneyecutie) has already sent hers and is already getting RSVP's maybe FM her and ask how she decided when to send hers. I think I am going to send mine out on Monday.

I sent them out 7 weeks before and STILL had latecomers! I'd say you should send them out the the last week of June/first week of August. Remember, some people may be away and not get it right away. The sooner the better!

i know i will have people who wait til the last minute and send out the RSVPs late.. so i'm dreading this..lol.. but i plan on sending mine out sometime in mid august for my early october response date... so i guess about weeks 7 or 8 weeks or so before.

We're *hopefully* sending out our invites monday or tuesday and our response date is august 1st. No matter how long you give people there are always going to be the PIA's that you have to hunt down that won't reply at all.

I was planning to send them out 6 weeks ahead, but I got backed up & didnt finish stuffing them, so I am sending them out on Tuesday- which is 5 weeks before my RSVP date (also August 1st)
