I'm at 34 weeks, so I'll be filling out my maternity leave papers soon. I feel good now, but am quickly deteriorating as the belly grows....Don't know how much longer I can commute!!

Hi!!! I am due March 9 with twins and I am stopping this week. This is going to be my last week at work. I am an attorney and commute to Brooklyn everyday on the LIRR and subway so I have had it!!

DON'T do what I did. I stopped working 4 days before my due date and I was a raving, miserable, BLOATED b*tch.

I originally planned to stop working the Friday before my DD, but because I had GD and it was the summer (and after having gone through the whole blackout thing w/walking home and down 49 floors), my dr put me out 2 weeks before I was due. As it turns out, it's a good thing I went out when I did because had I stayed at work I would've HAD GIANNA AT WORK!!!!!!!! (because she came 5 days early)

Hmmm, I was actually hoping to be able to work up until my EDD, if it is/was possible! I guess, like I keep telling everyone, I will have to wait and see how I feel!

Well, I'm my last day of work is going to be January 16th... I don't really have a specific due date, but a range from January 25th to February 4th. DH wanted me to start my maternity leave January 1st, but i think that's a bit too early...
I think it all depends on how you feel, your commute to/from work and what you're actually doing at work...

I'm one of those optimistic ones who hope to work up to the Friday before I'm due. I only work 5 minutes from home, but you never know when baby will want to make its appearance.

I was due on a Tuesday (2nd July) I stopped the previous friday (28th of June). So 4 days before my EDD. I would have worked until monday(the day before EDD), but I was depressed about having to be induced and did not want to hear another labor story at work.

I was due July 3rd and my last day was June 12th (DH could only get his vacation the week of June 15th and we wanted to spend some time together...)
Anywayyy, it was too soon!! I was going out of my mind by July 4th. And Sean didn't arrive until July 14th!!
