at least more than 24 hours but no more than two months.

You can go up to 60 days before

More than 24 hours. I think the license expires after 30 days

our hall told us we could do it in septeber - thats ok for november - my luck, it'd be expries by our day!!

I was told 30 days.

Whether it varies or not by where you go, I don't know. But we DEFINITELY had 60 days on our license. We got it at Town Hall in Islip.

We want to be married this year... and then 'married' next year on our one year anniversary.


So we have to take two days off work. One for the license.. one for the Justice people.

So it matters.. how long ahead we can start..

I should call Garden City and Find out.

I know it's 60 days at the one in Hempstead.
I think that's how it is everywhere.

Can you guys tell me..in jersey when applying for a license..you have to bring a witness to sign the license..a 3rd person..is it the same in New York state?
