How long before your wedding did your...

How long before your wedding did your gown come in? I ordered mine at the beginning of November and it's still not here! Should I be panicking or do I still have time? When do you normally go for your first fitting?

You still have some time, usually your first fitting is 6-8 weeks out. Not a whole lot of time though. Did they say when they thought it would come in?

Well, I've been having some drama with my dress place. First, they told me that it was being shipped on June 10th. I called at the end of June and they said it wasn't in yet and that they would call me. They didn't give me a date though and I'm really beginning to stress about it. I don't want to call again and harass them, but it should really be in by now!

If you called at the end of June and they still haven't called you back then I wouldn' consider it harrasment if you follow up with them when it is now the end of JULY!

I can understand if it's still not in or it's technically not due in (i.e. they gave you the wrong date initially), but if you say you're going to call back, CALL BACK. I hate that.

Mine came in 5-6 weeks before my wedding. I ordered it DEcember 29th for a June 21st wedding and did rush ship. It was supposed to be in by end of April but didnt come in until 2nd week of May. Dont worry you should be fine!!!!!!!

I ordered mine in June of 07 and it didn't come in until Feb 08. Annoying.

Hey date twin ~ mine just came in a week and a half ago and they won't do a fitting until the end of August so you have some time...
80 days!!

my dress was late coming in. they even had a substitute dress in a similar style they were saving to show me if in case but then the dress came in. i ordered it in late november and it came in July8th that night was my first fitting. tonight is my second and my wedding is so soon! they said my dress came from china and with the earthquakes dresses were delayed in shipping. it will make it on time - dont worry.

I think 5 weeks.

I didn't have my first fitting until the week before my wedding. All me though - I wanted to lose as much weight as I could before I even looked at my dress. It was a form-fitting dress and I was paranoid.

mine came in this May - so 7 months before my wedding - i just ordered a melissa sweet dress for my reception and that will probably come in only a few weeks before my wedding - which is stressing me out - but since its not my main dress im not too worried but still keeping my fingers crossed that i have enough time to get alterations

You are not alone, I am also freaking out. My dress was ordered in January and was told that it will be in at the end of June. I didn't receive a phone call or anything I had to call them to see what was up. They said it wasn't in. I called yesterday and they said they don't have a date and maybe it should be in a few weeks I almost started . I said lady do you understand I am getting married in a few weeks? She was so damn calm telling me not to worry. I wanted to kill her. I will be harrasing them every week until my dress comes in. I am sooo scared
