just curious
my dr. says three months is enough
my sister says six months??

My dr said I can start right away--many say 3 months so you know your schedule-- but there is no medical evidence pointing towards problems-- anything you do hear is from the amounts of hormones in pills from YEARS ago--
when in doubt follow your dr advice-- or whatever works for you--

My cousing got off the pill and got pregnant the month after. The doctor had told her a year ahead. I really think its different for everybody. I would say 3-6 months.

My dr. said the dosage is so small nowadays that it is out of your system once you stop taking it. The reason they say to wait is more for you to establish a regular cycle that you can track, rather than anything that has to do with the pill. I stopped the pill and we started ttc the next month. I did not conceive for about 9 months...have fun trying!!

we want to try in Septemeber, so my dr. told me to stop taking it the first wek of June.And gave me pre-natal vitamins to take

yes, he gave me a sample, and a prescription to take pre-natal vitamins before we tried, and to continue taking them when Im pregnant.

I think the new thing in the vitamins is Lycopene - but the vitamin my Dr. said is most imp is folic acid.

He told me to take them when I come off the pill.
The first week of June, because about the end of August/beginning of September, will will try to TTC

I dont know the name of them, I will check when I get home.

maybe if u take a multivitamin, you dont need the prenate?

I used to take Centrum....but the ingredients in them are all synthetic.

I am taking a multi-vitamin from CHN...Womens Mega Vitamins. I will ask if I can continue that.

It does make my pee a neon yellow
