how long did it take you to get PG ? (NOT including the use of fertility drugs)

Oh my...are we trying something out here?
My one friend got pregnant the month she stopped taking the pill after being on it for 11 years.
My other friend has been trying since November and she was only on the pill 3 years.
I guess you can say it definitely varies!!

I was trying for a little over 1 year. I had to use fertility drugs because my body had truoble ovulating on its own.

I went of birth control in July. Our first 'try' was November but the timing was way off. December timing was right and sure enough I got pregnant so we really say that we got pregnant on the first try because we knew the timing wasn't right in November.

trying to get a good idea as to how i should plan...
I have heard different things... that immediately after comming off the pill people got PG and some a LONG time...
I am still on the pill...and a co-worker of mine suggested i come off it and use other forms of BC. SHe told me it took her 2 years to get PG AFTER she stopped the pill...So it got me worried...
so i am trying to get a consensus

Took my friend who is 25 3 months but she didn't really 'try' i.e. time it correctly until the 3rd month, she was winging it the other 2 months.
Another friend who is about 29 has been trying for 6 months for her 2nd. She got pg on the 2nd try with her first.

I've heard both ends of the spectrum. I have one friend who tried for 2 years after stopping the pill. And another friend who got pregnant while ON the pill.

Are you telling us something?
I got pregnant, the 1st time we tried. However, everyone is different. The key thing is to try on the right days... during ovulation.

i got off the pill in December. We started trying in late May and I got pregnant in August. So, it took 3 cycles.

I was off the pill like three months before I actually got pregnant, which was unplanned but very welcomed.
