How long did it take??????

I ordered my gown in August and the bridal shop told me it takes 6-9 months to come in.....is this a normal time frame? Also, how many fittings do you usually have? Is there an average amount? Any help would be great..Thanks Girls!

My salon told me that it comes in about 2-3 months before your wedding day regardless of when it is ordered.

i rodered mine in feb, it came in in august and my wedding is in november.....

WOW!! Thank god for this site and all of your posts. I felt like I had a long time until I needed to pick out a dress. I didn't know it would take 6-9months. Thanks guys!!

Unless it is a very elaborated gown, it usually arrives before they promised. I ordered my gown 10 months (July) before my wedding (May) and it arrived by the end of october.

i ordered mine in april and they said it shoudl eb in by the end of november....apparently the manufacturer is taking a little bit longer than usual.

I got the same it will be in 2 months before the wedding, I ordered in May and am expecting to hear from them in December.
