We have been engaged since October. I have asked my girls but FH has only asked his BM. I keep bugging him but he just keeps putting it off. Anyone elses FH wait and wait and wait??? How did you deal with it? How can I kick his a$$ into motion?

So did mine. I harassed him endlessly like Liz did. Even after he asked them, it took him another six months to choose a BM. It made me absolutely crazy I feel your pain.

FH was a slow poker too!! One I asked myself b/c he lives in St Thomas and he is like my little brother. So I didn't mind asking him. But I literally had to tell FH 100x call your cousins. Did you call them yet? When are you going to call them?

Dh and I both waited about 5-6 months before we asked anyone officially. We also had a 1.5 year enangement. DH was debating on a few things and I kind of was too so we wanted to make sure we made the right decisions before we asked.

I asked all of mine within 3 months of the engagement....FH has basically asked all of his, but he has not really been in contact with any of them re the wedding (they'll call each other and not a word will be said about the wedding) - he keeps saying 'We'll get it all figured out. No worries.' He and his friends are much more casual and 'Hey bro - see you when I see you' type friends as opposed to me and mine, who are up each other's butts everyday.

We got engaged last June.... he started asking his GM in February... they are finally all asked! Whew!
Don't worry about it... for some reason guys feel there is no rush!

We are getting married in Aug and my FH has yet to ask 2 of his GM. He just asked his BM like a week ago. We have been engaged since AUG!!!! I asked my girls like 2 weeks after we are engaged! He is making me crazy.

FH started asking like the day after we got engaged. And no lie, he asked everyone!!!!! He didn't even give us time to discuss it, so now we have 2 Best Men and 10 groomsmen. So I matched him with 1 MOH and 11 BM. So just be glad your FH isn't going crazy asking the whole world to be in your wedding party. I wish ours was smaller!!!! TOO MUCH MONEY!!!!!

My FH waited and waited and waited. It's a guy thing. Guys don't need as much notice. They're SO much more easy going than us women-folk! lol. They take things more in stride.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, but tell him if he doesn't pick by a certain date, YOU'LL pick for him!! That ought to get him moving...

I'm right there with the right away and too many. FH got overly excited and basically asked any of his male friends and that leaves me sort by like 3 BMs. Oh well, I thought it was cute though.

FOREVER...I am getting married in OCTOBER of 2003. I asked my eight girls months and months ago and he has yet to ask anyone....can you believe that??? The worst part is...he knows exactly who he is asking he just 'hasn't gotten around to it...' CRAZY

We were engaged Sept 13, he asked his best man in October (he wanted to ask him in Sept when we visited him and his wife as they live in FL and I asked the guys wife as soon as we told her we were engaged to be my matron but FI never got around to asking tim to be the best man. there just wasnt the right moment)
he asked one groomsmen in september because the groomsmen wife is a bridesmaid and we both wanted this couple in our party
the other 2 groomsmen he asked early this year. guys just never rush on anything
