It can take up to 8 weeks. We got ours in 6. NYC takes longer than any other place.

I got mine when I got home from my HM. Looks like it was processed just 5 days after my wedding and mailed then. Where did you get your license from? We are in NYC but we got it in Nassau ...

I think it was almost a month if not more. We filed on 9/4 (the Friday ofLabor Day weekend) and received it in the mail after our wedding (which was 10-3) so give or take a little over a month.

We applied for ours in NYC but were really surprised it was waiting for us when we got home from the HM (2 weeks)!

Ours was waiting when we got home for our HM. Not sure exactly which day it had come while we were away but we were married the 9th, left for HM the 11th and got home the 18th.
