How long did it take for your BM dresses (especially Jordan) to come in?

I was finally able to decide on a dress but my wedding is in June and the retailer said that even if they rush my delivery, they can only guarantee it by June 12 (only 2 weeks before the wedding) because the manufacturer (Jordan) tends to be much slower than most!!! I don't want to start from scratch again! I thought it only took around 12 weeks for BM dresses to come in.

How long did yours take?

Anyone order Jordan dresses?

I was told 2-3 months for my Jim Hjelm dresses, and they came in a month!

If I recall correctly, we got Jordan dresses for my sisters wedding. I think we ordered in May and had them ready by Sept.. We purchased from Macy's Bridal. You might want to check around at bridal salons that carry that brand and see if they could get it in sooner... Good luck!

We just selected our Jordan BM dresses a few weeks ago. (see pic to left) One of my BM is supposed to go in for measurements Friday. Then they will send the order in. I wasn't told that it would be a problem. I put my wedding date as May 7th. This was from Macy Bridal in Manhasset.

I am going to call now to make sure it isn't a problem! Just made me nervous

Didn't mean to make you nervous B2B. By the way, that is a beautiful dress too....I almost got that one!

I was just told that Jordan is slower by Netbride.com. It might be a load of bull in an attempt to get me to pay more for placing a Rush order. I don't know...I just don't see why it should take so long to get them in!

By the way, I just emailed the manufacturer to see if they have any better idea of how long it will take. Hopefully, I can get it because I don't want start the arduous Bridesmaid dress search again!!!

I just called Macys Bridal and asked if I was cutting it too close ordering the dresses this weekend. They said No.. The ETA for the dresses to be in the store for alterations is April 11. I hope this helps. :)

4 months for my BM dresses, 7 for my MOH dress.

BM were bill levkoff.

Oh very nice. My girls tried that dress too. The color is very elegant.

Are your girls wearing wraps or gloves with the dress?

Definitely not gloves, but maybe the shawls at the ceremony. I think I'll leave it up to them.

Are you getting the color in the picture? (Champagne I think?) I like that color a lot also!

I love the way this dress looks, my BM's actually tried it on but theyand I decided on something different.

Anyway, I saw that dress this weekend, its really pretty!
I just ordered my BM dresses on monday and they said to expect it by early May!

I am LIVID!!

Remember post above where I said I called Macys Bridal to be sure it would be okay if we ordered the dresses the weekend which was Jan 31? (One last girl needed to be fitted)

WELL they just called and said I would have to pay a rush charge now because the manufacturer will not have the dresses ready for delivery until April 29. Why should we have to pay an extra $40? The dress order should have been put in on Saturday. Plus why did they tell me it would be fine and even give me an April 11 delivery date? Ugh!!

I am wearing a dress by Jordan for my SIL's wedding in April and they came in very quickly. I picked it up from her in November and I think she put in the order in September some time...so 2 months...she ordered them in Staten Island somewhere.

Wearing this one in cornflower blue.

My BM's are wearing a Jordan dress and we ordered from Commack Wedding Center and were told 2-3 months. The company is in Westbury, they said it shouldn't take too long

That is what I was told a few weeks ago when we originally went in that it would be no problem as long as the last girl was in for measurements by the end of the month. Well The last girl went in the weekend and now they are telling me each girl has to pay $40 to rush order the dress. I don't think we should have to pay $40 extra for thier misinformation. The manager said she would go half with us but I said no we shouldn't have to pay any extra fee. She is working on it now. Sigh. What a pain!!

I had Jordan dresses Dress Style #325
I ordered them 4 months before the wedding. And they came in 2 weeks before the wedding.

Make sure to give yourself and your maids plenty of time for peace of mind
