How long did it take you to find 'the dress'?

It took me 5 months!!! I ordered it last month before I left for my vacation and it won't be ready until April!!

It was the second dress that I tried on.

About two weeks. I had some vacation I had to use by the end of March so I took off Wed-Fri of two weeks and went to every bridal store I could think of. I found the dress at the second to last store. And don't worry, since I made some modifications to my dress they told me 10 months!

It was the first dress I tried on, but we continued to look at three other places, and went back and got the first one. It took about a week, but we didn't go every day looking.

I think I tried on maybe 10-15 gowns...there's no real time frame on it because I only went gown shopping 3 times but spread out across 8 months.

An hour. I tried on a few, tried on my dress, tried on another one, and paid for it the next morning. I had been window shopping and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

2 days I guess.
One day I tried on 10 gowns (like one)
A week later I went to 3 more places. At one place I tried on 'the one'.
I'm still giddy about it.

So I went home and did research... went back and haggeled. got a price I can live with and bought it.

Now I won't see the thing until next July!!

I found a picture of it and fell in love with it. I went to the store to try it on and I fell in love with it. I tried on another dress just to make sure and I knew I made the right choice. I didn't try anything else on after that and I ordered it on the spot.

1 day. In fact, 2 hours. It was at the first place I went to. It was the 4th dress I tried on.

My dress was the first on I tried on. I then went and looked at one other place to make sure....and went right back to the first dress. I order it and it came in really quick and now it's just waiting for Feb.

I looked in one salon with my mom for like 2 hours and left likeing 2 dresses. kept looking in magazines. one day I stopped in a local salon near my home to just see what it was like inside....FIRST DRESS I pulled out to see,,WAS THE ONE!!!! It had butterflies on it and all. I knew then that was my dress! I bought it a few months later!

Yeah, about 4 months also and definitely about 60 dresses later. I think that I did not want to not be able to try on dresses anymore. That is just the best part!!
