How long did it take you to get all your Thank You's Out?

How long did it take you to get all your Thank You's Out?

After your shower?? I got a batch out two days later (Monday) but I've been slacking on the rest... am I going to get a ticket from the etiquette police?

2 weeks!!! And I wrote original paragraphs for all of them. As one of my relatives put it, 'I didn't cheat.'

Yes, I'm not cheating either. Two weeks sounds reasonable... I can do it in that amount of time.

within a week. but i had the time and i'm the kind who writes one out as soon as i get something. and i too write something original. i want people to know that i appreciate what they did.

i got all the thank yous for the people who came out in 2 days. as the gifts kept being delivered i would write them out within a day or two b/c i didnt want to forget to write them! i would just turn on the tv and do them!

At least many of you wrote thank you's. I went to a wedding last March and never received a Thank you. I was mad.

I had that experience too. I went to a wedding 5 years ago that I never got a thank you for and I also NEVER heard from the bride again. Hope she's having a nice life.

I am so worried about someone saying that about me because I received an extra gift without a card. At the shower, no one claimed it when I said I did not know who it was from. So obviously, there is someone who never received a thank you.

i had mine out in about 3 days thanks to mom buying me thank you stationary and stamps and putting in my wishing well. i think that was one of the best gifts

lets see. shower was on a saturday, 20 were written by tuesday, and the other 15 were by thursday...... mailed them out friday....each one i thanked them for coming, and the specific gift they gave.....i got blank note cards from the craft store and made the simple design on the front....

Wow! I am impressed! It took me a little under a month, but we were also closing on our house at the time and I was working on a project at work till midnight! It's hard to write 80 thank yous without your hand falling off!

Mine were done in 2 weeks and I wrote very personalized thank you's to each person. There was none of the ' thanks for the gift' in any of my thank you's. People actually called my MIL and told her what nice thank you's I had written. It's worth the extra few minutes to me.

Well since I broke my foot, I had the Monday after off, so I spent a few hours in teh afternoon writing most of them. Then Tuesday night I wrote the rest. (My mom and sister handed out enveloped for people to address to themselves, and I didn't have blank ones for people who weren't there or didn't fill out an envelope, so wanted to make sure that my family had them before I wrote them up - that's why they were written on Tues and not Monday) I only have the ones for my mom, sister and BM's left. They will all hopefully be sent out tomorrow!
