How long did it take you to get out of attorney review?

How long did it take you to get out of attorney review?

We have been in it for 5 days so far....is this normal

Are you buying or selling? Seller's atty has to write the contract - I guess it depends how busy the offices are...]

I signed my contracts w/in 24hrs of my attorney receiving them.

Jen we already signed our contract and we only had the inspection on Tuesday. I guess it depends on your attorney and any changes that have to be made.

we didn't have the inspection yet....is that supposed to happen during review?? aaah ...so confused. That would make sense.

Is your inspection coming up this week? We had our future house inspected before we signed the contract. That way if there was anything 'major' or 'not worth it' we could walk away without any futher obligation.

I used to do residential contracts and it honestly depends on how busy the attorney is, how many changes have to be made to the form contract, and how cooperative the other side is being in providing information, etc. However I think that a week is reasonable and 2 weeks would be a very long time.
