How long did you do Pre-Cana before wedding?

I am getting a little nervous because we have not been called for Pre-Cana and I know the program for us will be 8 weeks and I have some months to go but I really don't want to worry about it right before the wedding..

We started our precana in October '02 and it was for 6 nights plus a engaged couples mass, with holidays and all we ended in end of Nov, with mass in beginning of Dec.

Our wedding is in March, we will be first couple out of all the pre cana couples to get married.

so i guess we finished with almost 4 months to go

dont worry you will get the call in time if you are worried call your church

i would call your church--that's what i did--they sent me a schedule and a paper to fill out--i dropped the paper off and i'm starting this week!!---i would say the sooner you do it the better--one more thing to cross off your list!

We met with the priest months ago, and I still haven't called the pre-cana couple to set up a class for us

The priest told us to go ASAP!

This is one of my New Year's resolutions!!!

Ours was once a month for six months but every church is different.Some people do it in a weekend.

We did our precana in June and we are getting married in March (88 days left!!!)
We did a whole saturday session with about 20 couples.

I would call. Sometimes they leave it till the last second so you mut make the first move. I'll be starting Jan 23 and the wedding is Aug 29.

I did mine Oct/Nov and I am getting married July 03. I had to get in touch with them, no one was getting in touch with me!

We finished pre-caina in October and we're getting married in April. We weren't able to do the 6 week program, so we went for 2 days, Saturday & Sunday from 9-5.
