how long did you know your fiance before you decided to tie the knot? / head towards marriage...

i knew FH since i was 13 years old, and we started going out when i was 17 and now im 22 and were getting married! ...

I have known of FH since I was in high school. We both graduated in 1992 together and did not become friends till about 2 weeks after we graduated. We dated when we were 18 and then broke up and dated different people for long term (6 years) and then ran into each other when we were 26. We are now 32 and will be married when we are both 33. Basically I have known him personally for 14 years. Wow, I feel old. I believe that it was fate and we were meant to be b/c of all this.

ETA: I just got engaged this past August so as far as the time I have known him before we got engaged is the same as above, 14 years.

I met fh in 98. We started dating in 99. We got engaged after exactly 6 years and 8 months of dating.

same for me Oct 13th!!! sunflower13 your getting married on our 2nd year aniversary!!!

I got engaged on October 13th of this year as well...and it just so happened to be my 21st bday on Oct 13th hehe It was def a great bday present.

But we knew eachother for 13 years before we started dating and then started dating Jan 2 2005 so I guess we got at our 1 year and 9 months of dating...but we both had crushes on eachother since 4th grade just never happened until I was in my second year of college and he his first year in the Marine Corps

We knew each other for seven years and started dating in our junior year of college.. then a year and half later we were engaged!

FH and i went to hs together and we were friends. he was always there when my heart was broken then one day he said let me be the one... i will never break your heart. So we dated 7 1/2 years before he popped the question and when we get married we will have been together 9 years. I truly love this man and i am so lucky
