how long do tealights burn???

So, I bought some tealights for the tables for our eparty today, but now im wondering how long they will actually stay lit? does anyone know? if it is like an hour...i guess i will have to rethink my plans....

Probably a couple hours....not very long

Put them in the freezer. I do this with Shabbos candles and they last longer than if you just leave them out.

that's the strangest candle-related thing I've ever heard.
I MUST try this!! lol

tealight candles.. last about 2 hours. I used them for my engagement party- My mom kept running around replacing them.

i used tealights for my wedding... bought them in michael's and they lasted for 4 hours

About 4-6 hours.

about 3-4 hrs but you can also buy tea lights that have a longer burn time 4-6 hours or more.

I got mine on ebay - soy based - hand poured tealights - claims to last 7-8hrs.

thanks ladies! fyi: i actually burned one tonight and it lasted 4 hours and 48 minutes (without the freezer trick!), i thought that was pretty good for the cheap ones from michael's, $3.99 for 25!
