I just got my shoes for my gown, I never really broke in shoes I always would buy them and start wearing them out when I needed to, but always regreted it.
Since this is such an important day and I don't want my feet to hurt or for me to fall what is the best advice you ladies can give me on what to do with my shoes?
Thanks,

HI Mer...I don't know exactly how long before. But I would do it starting whenever you want..wear a pair of socks and walk around the house in them. Just begin to get comfy and strech them out a bit. If you have shoetrees that may help too. Oh, don't forget to scratch up the bottom to prevent slipping!

Yeah, just wear them untill they are comfortable.
Mine are at mom's so I don't knwo how much tiem I'll have to break them in. I should walk a round in them when I go to visit her.

I wear them every so often only around the house. I don't want to get them dirty. My shoes are already comfortable but I just want to make sure.

OK, call me crazy but I didn't want them to get dirty, so I took some socks, put them OVER the shoes and walk around in them. I'll scratch the bottoms up before the actual day.

Re: How long do you break in shoes?
I bought my shoes after christmas last year and I wear them around the house all the time so they will be nice and broken in for the day!

I wore them for a couple of weeks around the house.
