Once the water comes to a boil I cook for 5 minutes.. then I turn off the flame and let it sit in the hot water for another 5 minutes.. this cooks them without discoloring the yolk... then I run under cold water

i love to cook... but every time i need to boil eggs for easter i ALWAYS end up checking online about it... one day i gotta remember

Here is a great hint to know if they are coooked..... If you spin the egg on the counter and it spins really fast it is done. Test it with a raw egg. Raw eggs don't spin fast.

I put eggs in water, put it on the stove until the water boil for about two minutes, take it off the heat and cover for about 10 minutes. Complicated but it works -
