How long do you think it would take...

...for the hole in my nose to heal if I took the diamond in my nose out? I don't want to have it in for my wedding and want to make sure it's 100% healed by then. I'm not ready to part with it right now though

Does anyone know?

I would probably take it out at the one year mark. And then start to put some scar treatment lotion on it right away so that it doesn't leave a scar.

ETA: I don't know this first hand... I'm too chicken to get anything pierced after I had my belly button done... OUUUUUCH!

Kim absolutely NOTHING hurt as much as getting your belly button pierced (actually nevermind I do know 1 thing). I thought they were piercing my liver when they did it. My cartlidge on my ear hurt 2 most, then on the list would be my nose, then my tongue (took that out like 2 years ago).

Ok, so the 1 year mark it is!

Melissa, I got it done the FIRST time (yes that's right, the first time) upstate at school... biiiig mistake, she totally fuucked up and it never healed properly... so I took it out (which hurt like a biitch too)... then I came home that summer and got it done again and I thought I was going to pass out! It still didn't heal properly so I took it out and now I have a wierd looking scar on my belly button.

I actually have a itty bitty scar also from when I tried to pierce mine when I was 14 (yes I was nuts, with no ice, just a safety pin )...but my piercing now more of less covers it. I never wanna take my belly button ring out...but I have a feeling I'll need to when I decide to have babies.

I think that will be enough time. My friend had her nose pierced and she took it out. It closed up pretty fast but she still had a dot on her nose where it was and eventually it disappeard.

I can't believe you want to take it out... I had my tongue pierced when I was 19 and I wish I had NEVER taken it out... Now I'm fearful in my old age. It didn't hurt at all when I had it done.

Now I miss it. Are you sure you won't miss it? and it's barely noticeable....

I miss my tongue ring sometimes too, it was a fun toy when I was bored. I'm definitely going to miss my nose ring, I love it but I really don't want to be able to see it in my pics, plus I don't plan on having it when I'm older and have kids so I'd rather be piercing-less on my wedding day.

i have pretty dark skin so i scar really easily so i have to get something done about my belly ring when i get pregnant and want to take it out - i have a super dark scar all around it!

I wish I had the dark skin problem, sometimes I'm so pale I feel see through.
