How long do you think the Transit Strike will last
Just curious...my DH says 2 weeks (I sure hope not) but was wondering what everyone else thinks...

i think it will last only a few days-- right now the workers are gun-ho about it...but with each day they lose 2 days salary, and that will hurt their pockets. i hope it's done in less than a week!

It better be by tomorrow. I don't plan on staying in the city past tonight and I am not taking the LIRR so if they don't call off the strike no more work for me after tomorrow!!!

I read on www.7online.com that negociations can't really continue until the contempt of court hearing is over. As of right now, they have the courtroom scheduled for 2 days but, they aren't sure if it's going to last that long.

A judge just slapped a $1 million dollar a day fine on them.
This also means that the court hearing is over so they can get back to negociations!!!
