How long do you wait for a potential reception site to get back to you?

How long do you wait for a potential reception site to get back to you?
I called this site for a potential reception that is fairly 'non traditional' meaning i'm not sure how many weddings they have done / do.
When I called, the hostess told me that the special events coordinator only answers inquiries through e-mail. So I e-mailed him this morning. I'm very anxious to hear back since I believe this could be the site. How long do I wait before I contact him again?

they only respond via email? that wouldn't fly with me. if they can't deal with me in person, they don't get my business.

right and if they aren't calling you back now, take that as a sign that they won't treat you right. I would not bother with them. There are so many places

If you can't call me back in the very beginning of the process, when you should be trying to 'court' me into booking, I assume the customer service will only get worse. I would give them a day or so, then start looking somewhere else.
I also don't like the idea that the person can't call me back.

you're absolutely right. I was thinking I was being a hyper-active crazy by getting aggrevated that they didn't e-mail me back already.
