Does anyone know how long airbrushed makeup should last? I will need my makeup to look almost perfect for almost 12 hours. I don't know how possible that is without doing a complete re-touching mid way through the day...

Mine lasted until I washed it off. I did a trial with my makeup artist on a hot summer day, then went on a boat trip around Manhattan in the hot sun. I didn't wash it off until about 10 hours after it had been applied.
I hired the same make up artist to do my make up for my e-pics. Again, it lasted beautifully all day.
Same make up artist for my wedding and my sister's wedding. Again, no need for touch ups.

DAYS! MY trial make up was on for 3 day & remaind flawless...I took it off on day 3 & it still looked good
