THe nesting syndrome?????? I am a neat freak and since I got PG I have been worse. I keep cleaning and organizing things. I am starting the nursery and I keep buying things for the room and for Kaylee. I try to brush it off and relax but it is not working. Since I am now off bedrest I am being careful and I am at home so maybe that has something to do with it????

Re: How long does it last?
It never went away with me!! As soon as I got pregnant in 1999 until now, I cannot tolerate clutter or dirtiness.

Re: How long does it last?
I cleaned the entire house again and rearranged the pantry so everything is in straight rows and facing out so i can see whats in there. I feel like i have lost my mind. was hoping to hear it goes away but i guess i was wrong.

Sarah I don't want you to over-extend yourself!! Remember you need to rest and be strong for your baby so try not to over-do it.
Rearrange photo albums or something a little less strenuous!!

Re: How long does it last?
I have been taking it easy, my DH won't let me do a thing except sit on a chair and go through things. I am following the doctors orders believe me, i am not taking any chances of anything else going wrong. I have had my share and that was enough. I just want everything to be perfect for whe she gets here. Thanks for looking out for me. I promise i am taking everything little by little. I still nap daily and put my feet up every couple of hours. Thanks girls.

Re: How long does it last?
It will go away when you have your second child and your first child is in school with homework and you have to make dinner and there is playdoh stuck to the table and the kids are fighting and they dont put anything away and you dont even have one minute to use the bathroom alone and someone is knocking on the door and telling you they have to pee and telling you to hurry up because they spilled there milk all over your new rug
by the time you stop with dinner, bathtime, laundry etc you just collapse on the bed and you are lucky if you have clean sheets and a blanket you dont care if everything is in its place
or thats just my life lol

That just sounded like my daily routine, but in between there I'm working! I wish I could slow down, I'm up til 1am sometimes cleaning and straightnening up. Take it easy Sassy, the house can wait, the health of your baby cannot. Did I hear you say 'she'? Did I miss a post? Are you having a girl?!!
